The scanner is the front of the workflow: the whole symbol universe with rolling metrics, sortable, updating off the live feed.
A driver, not an island
Pick a row and it sets the symbol for the window's link group. The chart, Level II, ladder, and news that follow that group all move to the name you selected. A trade starts at the scanner, and the rest of the desk follows it there.
The engine does the work
Metric computation and filtering run in the engine, which pushes snapshots to the panel over a socket. The panel only presents, so a dense, sortable table stays fast across a large universe.
Plain-language scans, on the roadmap
Describing a scan in plain language, "gapping up twelve percent on high volume, at the high of day," and watching the filters fill themselves in is planned. When it lands it will populate the scanner's real filter rows, visible and editable, never a black box, so you can adjust any condition and learn the filter model by watching it get built. The same scan will be reachable from outside the app over an open API.
