Business Inventories (MoM) for the USA is an indicator that measures the change in the value of unsold goods held by manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers. A high reading may suggest either a lack of consumer demand or that companies are building up inventory in anticipation of increased demand. A reading that is stronger than expected is generally seen as positive for the USD, while a weaker than expected reading is seen as positive. This data is released by the Census Bureau.
