South African Trade Balance is an economic indicator that measures the difference between the country’s exports and imports over a given period of time. It provides insight into the structure and intensity of trade flows between countries and is published monthly by the South African Revenue Service. A positive trade balance signifies a trade surplus, while a negative value signifies a trade deficit.
