Retail Sales (YoY) for Brazil is an indicator that measures the change in the total value of sales at the retail level, adjusted for inflation. It is a key measure of consumer spending, which accounts for the majority of overall economic activity. A higher than expected reading is generally seen as positive for the BRL, while a lower than expected reading is generally seen as negative for the BRL.
