Factory Orders (MoM) for the USA is an indicator that measures the change in the total value of new purchase orders placed with manufacturers. This report includes both a revision of the Durable Goods Orders data released about a week earlier and new data on non-durable goods orders. A reading that is higher than expected is generally seen as positive for the USD, while a lower than expected reading is seen as negative. This data is released by the US Census Bureau.
